Training Quality Standard
 The Training Quality Standard is an assessment framework that was recently established by the Learning and Skills Council. It is designed to accredit organisations that can demonstrate excellence in delivering training solutions to employers.
Bury College is pleased to announce that in recognition of our work with employers, we have joined the select few colleges in the country to be awarded the new Training Quality Standard (TQS) for Employer Engagement. The award recognises the work of the college in delivering outstanding training and development for businesses and their employees. The TQS has also been awarded for the College’s Early Years provision for Excellence in Childcare.
With employers in mind, the TQS reflects their priorities and expectations. The evaluation is
driven by evidence provided by employers we work with and our excellent service was
reflected in this. In short, the Training Quality Standard:
- Recognises the excellent service we provide to employers
- Is exclusively focused on the employer experience
- Provides evidence of employee satisfaction
- Shows that training has had a positive impact on the companies we work with
- Demonstrates our commitment to quality and ongoing improvement
